About Wakefield City Webcats

The Wakefield City Webcats are the official IMBRL (supporters) team for the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats and we are one of the longest running and most successful IMBRL sides.

We are one of the few Tag Rugby only teams (see the 'About IMBRL' page for more details about Tag Rugby), however is means that more people get to enjoy playing rugby. We offer the chance for people of any age, size, fitness level or gender to get involved in playing a safe verison of Rugby League. If you are wanting to play Rugby League just for fun while meeting fans of Wakefield Trinity Wildcats or fans of other Rugby League teams then we are the perfect team for you.

Players both past and present have had the chance to play at Internationally known stadiums, such as The Boluvard in Hull, The Shay in Halifax and the hallow turf at Belle Vue in Wakefield this list is going to grow. The opportunity to play at such stadiums would not have been there had it not been for the success of the IMBRL sence and the Wakefield City Webcats ourself.
